About these Stories
These Cushing’s bios aren’t your typical “bedtime story” but they tell the truth about what Cushing’s patients go through to get diagnosed – and hopefully go into remission.
There aren’t necessarily a lot of happy endings here. If you’re looking for those, look at the ones in the category “Success Stories”.
If you see yourself in any of these stories, please feel free to add your own bio for inclusion here and get yourself to a good endocrinologist.
Hopefully, soon your bio can be in the Success Stories category too.

Hi! I’m new to this website, my question is, how do you find the best cushings doctor? I was diagnosed with a pituatary tumor, also an arachnoid cyst, also a penicillin cyst, would like to find 1 doctor who can address all the above! My weight has fluctuated from size 4 to 12! Devastated and depressed and all my doctors in Oklahoma can’t tell me any doctors who can help me? Any help is appreciated! Thanks , vicki

I posted your questions at http://cushings.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/54003-can-you-help-a-cushie-in-oklahoma/ to see if I could drum up some answers for you.
So far, there is this:
“She’s going to have to travel. Dr. IMCC @ MDA would be the closest, although if it were me, I would go to Dr. K for something like this.
I checked the entire Neurosurgeon list at the University of Oklahoma, which I imagine is the best research hospital in the state, and none even mention pituitary tumors on their bio.”
MDA is MD Anderson in Texas, Dr Ian McCutcheon
